| Toro Y Moi is on their way to becoming the sacred cow of the indie scene. Chaz Bundick, the man behind the name, is a 24-year-old one man orchestra from South Carolina. Alt-pop, glof-fi, post-disco, chillwave, whatever you want to call it, Toro Y Moi’s full-length debut, “Causers of This,” released earlier this year, deserves all the compliments it has received. These are sounds for fun and contemplation. A good pick for fans of Daft Punk and Sonic Youth, and for all those that like a bit of adventure in their music. |
