| Jonathan Meiburg, a multi-instrumentalist, inspired singer, and leader of the Texas group Shearwater, is an ornithologist. His passion for birds inspired him to borrow the band’s name from a type of seabird, and nature in general is a recurring theme in his lyrics. Shearwater’s delicate and at once dramatic songs, which fit in somewhere between folk and rock for adults, will make this one of the most poignant concerts of the festival.
