| An electrofunk group from Scandinavia with a name that says it all. This band’s strong point is the unpretentious naïveté of the melodies and sounds that have been lost for decades. Something like Duran Duran on holiday in Morocco, but with the riotous force of rave when performing live. In the fall of 2008, the UK saw the release of the country’s first-ever single sung in Norwegian — that was them. A concert tour of preschools — that was them as well. Their concerts resemble house parties that have spiraled horribly out of control and somehow wound up on stage. Don’t be fooled by appearances: there is a method in the madness. |
