Someone once described them as a more subtle mutation of Animal Collective, one marked by a specifically Slavic variety of melancholy. The duo debuted in 2009 with the album “Lullabies of Love and Death” and was immediately hailed as one of the most interesting young independent bands in Poland. And it all started with a film score that bassist Filip Zawada tried to compose and record. He invited guitarist Peve Lety over to the studio, and they clicked so well, that even though the soundtrack was scrapped, they formed a band that has been drawing increasing interest in Poland and abroad. |
