WIRE at OFF Festival 2009.

WAVVES, who has cancelled their all European tour is not going to appear in Mysłowice, but on the 9th of August in Local Culture Centre (Miejskie Centrum Kultury) is going to perform the real legend, British formation WIRE!

WIRE (UK) – the legend of punk rock and new wave. Since their already cult debut entitled “Pink Flag” released in 1977, they have been surprising till these days, and among the artists who draw the inspirations from their output are Fugazi, R.E.M or Bloc Party. Their unflagging condition which has lasted for three decades is proved by their perfect eleventh studio album “Object 47” (Pink Flag, 2008)
