One of the biggest surprises of this year’s OFF Festival is coming back to Poland. The sensational Monotonix will play two concerts from OFF Festival Club series. Monotonix will come back to Poland especially for this two day edition of OFF Festival Club presented by mBank, the patron of OFF Festival.

This amazing trio from Israel will perform on 17th December in Warsaw and on 18th of December in Katowice. They will present their signature mixture of live performance and musical craziness and play the songs from their last album „Where Were You When it Happened” which according to Pitchfork „hypnotizes and makes listeners almost as happy as Monotonix’s live shows”.

Monotonix’s performance was the biggest sensation of fourth edition of OFF Festival, the most important alternative festival in Poland. Artur Rojek, the artistic director of OFF Festival, had warned everybody of Monotonix’s musical powers, but the audience who witnessed the band’s performance on Miasto Muzyki stage on 7th of August surprised everybody and gave a new meaning to the words „musical concert”:

"This kind of concert was never played in Poland before. Monotonix’s vocalist posessed the audience from the very beginning and nobody protested. The music fans were carrying him (on their stretched arms, on the chair, on a drum), absolutely listened to his words and obeying his wishes (sitting down, shouting, waving, making place for his new performances) and eventually handing him over their stuff (a hat, a wig). Although we might have feared for life of the vocalist or the members of the public, this was one of the best concerts of the second day of OFF Festival." interia.pl

The spectacular performance of Monotonix was very often commented in Polish press and one of the memorable moments from 2009 OFF Festival. Those who couldn’t witness it with their own eyes are not able to get over it. That’s why Monotonix are coming back to Poland and everybody who missed them for the first time and getting a second chance to take part in their amazing musical show.

Tickets: 45 zł in advance, 55 zł on the day of the concert.
