| The German duet Mouse on Mars is a living legend of electronic music. Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner met at a health food store, but they’ve got more in common than their love of tofu. Both have a rare talent for combining artistic ambitions with rhythms that can be — nay, should be — danced to. They’re also known for their collaborations with Stereolab, Junior Boys, and Mark E. Smith of The Fall. Playing with Smith under the name Von Südenfed, the group recorded the album “Tromatic Reflexxions” three years ago, thus far their last release. |
